Human Resources/Safety Manager

Growing regional distributor of construction supplies with 13 branch locations on the east coast is seeking a motivated and skilled Human Resources and Safety Manager to oversee both HR functions and safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations
  and compliance with employment law.
• Collaborate with location managers to implement and manage workplace
  safety programs ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
• Conduct safety training and promote a culture of safety awareness
• Serve as a resource for employee inquiries and conflict resolution across
  all locations.
• Oversee data entry and maintenance of employee records
• Participate in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions

Qualifications:

• 3 plus years of previous experience in Human Resources or other related fields
• In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, OSHA regulations
  and safety standards.
• Fundamental knowledge of labor and employment laws
• Ability to build rapport with all employees
• Strong leadership qualities
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Occupational Safety
  or a related field preferred.
• Must be willing to travel when needed.
